This summary of bidding and play follows the "Winningway/Winningplay" pamphlets by Flintom. The 1948 edition has "with all the 1948-49 changes in the Culbertson System and the Official Laws". This was altered too "1952 Edition in the Culbertson System and the Official Laws" four years later. There is uncertainty about when and how often this was published, which makes edition numbers rubbery.
