This has 101 deals that illustrate that number of maxims. While the material on declarer play and defence is first rate, as expected, the advice in other areas is often either moot or dated. The standard is uneven and, while it was aimed at intermediates, some material is likely to be beyond the target audience. Overall, it’s closer to a pot boiler than a masterpiece.
