A complete account the bidding and play of the famous Beasley v Culbertson match played over 300 boards. It was much closer than the final scores suggest, with the English team leading for over half the match.  Although the bidding and play was of a quite low standard, this match generated huge interest, many articles and several other books which attempted to analyse these records.
